Hakapiri does not include any content. It is a player: it plays the playlists you add, as long as you have the right to watch them, such as free channels streamed online or videos on your home network. To try it right away there is the Demo room, with sample channels, movies and a series.
Built for touch, on phones in portrait and landscape and on tablets.
Channels grouped by category, with number, logo, what’s on now and a progress bar. Swipe through groups with one finger.
Two hours back and eight ahead. If the channel has an archive, a programme that has already ended plays from the start.
Posters, plots, seasons and episodes. Resume where you left off and move on to the next episode automatically.
Search channels, programmes on air, movies and series together. Ignores case and accents.
Favourites, recents and half-watched titles, kept separately for each playlist.
A PIN locks adult groups. Unlocking lasts only until you close the app.
Full screen in portrait, list and details side by side in landscape. On tablets the menu becomes a sidebar.
After 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes without any touch, Hakapiri asks if you’re still watching.
